Saarinen Tulip Table

Jonathan Adler in Liz Lange's house

Another iconic piece of furniture.
You will love it, or hate it. I'm loving it.

This is a table that can be any flavor your want: playful in a teen room,
funky in a kitchen
or a splash of modern as a side.

If you can recall in Simplybrookes' previous post, Unique Light Fixtures,
you will see another view of this iconic Saarinen Tulip Table.

  1. I loooovvve the Tulip table. I have serious dreams of having one someday. I love them in the kitchen or dining room. I don't like them with the chairs though. It's just too much. What I love about the Tulip table though is that it can be paired with so many other styles and still look good.
Have you seen it as a coffee table? I really love that too.
Ikea actually has a Tulip style table. It is not as high quality, obviously, but lots cheaper. It looks pretty good too. It is a good alternative if you don't have a few grand to spare to spend on a table, or if you have little ones who like to use the table as their art table. You don't really have to worry about it.
    Greta post!

  2. Greta,
Agreed. Even looked for the tulip table at Ikea, but couldn't find it on the website. Will go down to look for it in person. Would love the side table for my secret reading spot.

Thanks again for your comments. Love the interaction!
